Wilmington police arrest suspect in armed robbery at bank

Wilmington police investigate armed robbery at bank near Mayfaire

WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) - The Wilmington Police Department says they’ve arrested a suspect accused of armed robbery at a bank Friday afternoon.

The incident took place at the Dogwood State Bank located at 1131 Military Cutoff Road near the Mayfaire Town Center.

A press release from WPD says 67-year-old Glenn Martinoff has been arrested for armed robbery.

Police say the suspect took money and fled in a white Lincoln MKZ. No injuries were reported.

Officials declined to say what weapon the suspect used in the robbery, but did say it was not a gun or knife.

Martinoff is being held without bond.
